Free Drying shrinkage​

 

The free drying shrinkage for the five different products was tested by using 100x100x200 mm prisms. Two pairs Demec targets were attached to the prisms on opposite ends of the specimen with a spacing of 100 mm and an accuracy of 10 micrometers.

 

A Demec strain gauge was used to measure the shrinkage strain of the specimen. Three prism specimens were tested for each product over a period of 49 days.
